Professor Chander Speaks at American Society of International Law Conference

Professor Anupam Chander served as a commentator for a panel on Cyberspace and International Law at the Mid-Year Research Conference of the American Society of International Law, held at the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle.

Professor Chander also served on the Program Committee for the conference, which draws international law scholars from around the world. The Program Committee selected papers for presentation at the conference.

Professor Chander commented on papers discussing a human rights approach to net neutrality, the relationship of public and private cybersecurity activity in the United States, and the Internet governance provisions of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement.

Professor Chander, Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor of Law at UC Davis School of Law, is a leading scholar of international economic law and cyberlaw. He is the author of The Electronic Silk Road: How the Web Binds the World in Commerce, published in 2013 by Yale University Press.
