Professor Chander Keynotes ‘Law and Innovation' Conference in Brazil

In August, Professor Anupam Chander gave a keynote address on "Law and Innovation" in Sao Paolo, Brazil as part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Brazilian Internet steering committee, CGI.br. CGI.br is a multi-stakeholder body that manages the Brazilian Internet, including the .br country code domain.

Hartmut Glaser, the Executive Secretary of CGI.br, introduced Professor Chander, as well as computer pioneer (and Internet Hall of Fame member) John Klensin, who also gave a keynote address. 

Professor Chander, a leading scholar of international economic law and cyberlaw, is the author of The Electronic Silk Road: How the Web Binds the World in Commerce, published in 2013 by Yale University Press. His scholarly papers can be accessed via his Social Science Research Network author page.
