Professor Chander Gives Opening Address at World Trade Forum in Switzerland

Professor Anupam Chander gave the opening lecture at the World Trade Forum in Bern, Switzerland last month.  He presented his paper "Trade 2.0" at the forum, the World Trade Institute's annual conference, which this year was organized on the theme of "Trade Governance in the Digital Age."

Also in September, Professor Chander participated as a delegate to the Internet at Liberty 2010 conference at the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. The conference brought together individuals working on the front lines of issues of Internet censorship and surveillance.

In addition, Professor Chander served as a senior scholar commenting on papers selected for presentation as part of the Harvard-Stanford International Junior Scholars Forum held October 8-9 at Stanford Law School. The competition brought to Stanford about a dozen junior academics writing in international and comparative law outside the United States.

Professor Anupam Chander is a leading scholar in the law of globalization and digitization, and has written widely on international law, cyber law, and corporate law.
