Professor Brownstein Speaks at Northwestern University

On May 12, Professor Alan Brownstein participated in a Northwestern University Law Review symposium on the legacy of retired U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens.  Professor Brownstein was a speaker in a panel discussion entitled "Justice Stevens on Religion." Also taking part in the symposium was King Hall faculty member Professor Diane Marie Amann, a former clerk for Justice Stevens, who participated in a panel discussion of "Justice Stevens' Methods of Interpretation."

Professor Brownstein, a nationally recognized Constitutional Law scholar, teaches Constitutional Law, Law and Religion, and Torts at UC Davis School of Law, where he holds the Boochever and Bird Endowed Chair for the Study and Teaching of Freedom and Equality.
