Professor Brownstein to Speak on Same-Sex Marriage in Kangas Lecture

Professor Alan Brownstein will speak on constitutional issues surrounding same-sex marriage when he delivers the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Kangas Lecture at the Davis Senior Center on October 15 beginning at 1:30 pm.  Brownstein's lecture is entitled "Strangers in a Strange Land: The Struggle to Reconcile Religious Liberty and Same-Sex Marriage."  The event is free and open to the public.

Professor Brownstein, a nationally recognized Constitutional Law scholar, teaches Constitutional Law, Law and Religion, and Torts at UC Davis School of Law, where he holds the Boochever and Bird Endowed Chair for the Study and Teaching of Freedom and Equality.
