Professor Brownstein to Receive Liberty Magazine Award for Academic Excellence

Professor Alan Brownstein has been chosen by the Seventh-day Adventist Church State Council to receive the Liberty Magazine Award for Academic Excellence at the Council's 50th Anniversary Banquet in Sacramento on September 14.

Professor Brownstein, a nationally recognized Constitutional Law scholar, teaches Constitutional Law, Law and Religion, and Torts at UC Davis School of Law, where he holds the Boochever and Bird Endowed Chair for the Study and Teaching of Freedom and Equality.
