Professor Bjorklund Travels to Sydney to Speak at Investment Conference

Professor Andrea Bjorklund travelled to Sydney, Australia to speak at the Sydney Law School conference on "International Investment Treaty Law and Arbitration: Evolution and Revolution in Substance and Procedure" on February 20.

Professor Bjorklund chaired a plenary session on "Directions in Investment Treaty Practice" and spoke on the role of sub-national governments in investment law as part of a panel discussion of "Investment Treaty Arbitration and the Domestic Sphere: Issues of Jurisdiction and Admissibility."

Andrea Bjorklund is a Professor at the UC Davis School of Law.  Her research focuses on international investment disputes and she has published widely in that area, with articles in the Virginia Journal of International Law, the American Review of International Arbitration, and the Oxford Handbook of International Investment Law.
