Professor Bjorklund to Speak on NAFTA Arbitration at McGill University
Professor Andrea Bjorklund will speak on "NAFTA Chapter 11 and the Environment" at the "15 Years of NAFTA Arbitration and the Environment" conference hosted by McGill University and the International Arbitration Institute (IAI) in collaboration with McGill's Private Justice and the Rule of Law research team. The joint conference marks the 15th anniversary of NAFTA Chapter 11 arbitration, and features several of the world's leading experts in international investment arbitration.
Andrea Bjorklund is a Professor at the UC Davis School of Law. Her research focuses on international investment arbitration, and she has published widely in that area, with articles in the Virginia Journal of International Law, the American Review of International Arbitration, and the Oxford Handbook of International Investment Law. Her most recent piece is "The Emerging Civilization of Investment Arbitration" in the Penn State Law Review.
