Professor Bjorklund Elected to American Law Institute
Comprised of judges, academics and practicing lawyers from the United States and around the world, the ALI is widely considered the nation's most important non-governmental organization of legal reformers. It oversees law revision projects that often form the basis of statutes enacted across the country and become standards cited in judges' legal opinions, lawyers' briefs, and scholarly articles. ALI membership is a distinct professional honor, and the number that can be admitted is limited to around 4,000.
The King Hall faculty includes ALI members Dean Kevin R. Johnson and former Dean Florian Bartosic, and Professors Keith Aoki, Diane Marie Amann, Carol S. Bruch, Joel C. Dobris, Floyd F. Feeney, Robert W. Hillman, John B. Oakley, Edward H. Rabin, Daniel L. Simmons, Bruce A. Wolk, and Richard C. Wydick.
Andrea Bjorklund is a Professor at the UC Davis School of Law. Her research focuses on international investment disputes and she has published widely in that area, with articles in the Virginia Journal of International Law, the American Review of International Arbitration, and the Oxford Handbook of International Investment Law.
