Professor Bjorklund Chosen for ILA Study Group

Professor Andrea K. Bjorklund has been chosen by the International Law Association (ILA) to be co-rapporteur, along with August Reinisch of the University of Vienna, of a study group that will examine the role of soft law instruments in international investment law.  In particular, they will examine the pros and cons of "codification" - the preparation of a treatise akin to a Restatement - of the law of international investment.

Andrea Bjorklund is a professor at the UC Davis School of Law whose special interests include international investment and trade, conflict of laws, international arbitration and litigation, public international law, and contracts.
