Professor Biagioli Speaks at University of Washington, University of Toronto

Professor Mario Biagioli spoke on scientific innovation and intellectual property in recent lectures at the University of Washington and the University of Toronto.  At Washington on April 15, he gave a talk entitled "First Takes All: Priority Credit in Science" at the Symposium on Credit and Credibility in Early Modern Europe held at Simpson Humanities Center.  On May 4, he spoke to the law faculty at the University of Toronto on "Biomedical Authorship and Its Meaning" as part of a  conference on "The Ethics of Ghost Authorship in Biomedical Research."

Professor Biagioli, an internationally renowned expert in the fields of Intellectual Property and the History of Copyright, is a member of the UC Davis School of Law faculty and founding Director of the Center for Innovation Studies at UC Davis.Bottom of Form
