Professor Biagioli Speaks at UCSB, Exeter, Notre Dame

Professor Mario Biagioli presented a talk entitled "The Time of the New: Constructing Scientific Priority from 1600 to 1850" at the "Keeping Time II" symposium at UC Santa Barbara on November 4, and also participated in the "New Ontologies" conference the University of Exeter in Devon, England on October 29-30.  On November 18, he will deliver a talk on "Originating Creativity: The Peculiar History of the 'Personal Expression'" as part of the "Creativity and the Law Symposium" at Notre Dame School of Law.

Professor Biagioli, an internationally renowned expert in the fields of Intellectual Property and the History of Copyright, is a new member of the King Hall faculty and founding Director of the Center for Innovation Studies at UC Davis.
