Professor Bhagwat Speaks on Supreme Court First Amendment Decision at California Independent System Operator Legal Forum

Professor Ashutosh Bhagwat spoke on the recent U.S. Supreme Court First Amendment case, Sorrell v. IMS Health, Inc., at the California ISO (Independent System Operator) Legal Forum on November 1 in Folsom.  Governor Jerry Brown appointed Bhagwat to serve on the Board of Governors of the California ISO in May 2011.  The California ISO oversees operation of the state's power grid.

Professor Bhagwat joined the King Hall faculty during the summer of 2011 after having been a tenured member of UC Hastings' faculty for more than a decade, and is an innovative, broad-ranging, and widely published constitutional law scholar.
