Professor Bhagwat Appointed to California ISO Board

Professor Ashutosh Bhagwat, a new member of the UC Davis law faculty, has been appointed to the governing board of the California Independent System Operator by Governor Jerry Brown.  The ISO is a non-profit public benefit corporation charged with operating the majority of California's high-voltage wholesale power grid. 

Professor Bhagwat, a tenured member of UC Hastings' faculty for more than a decade who joined King Hall during the summer of 2011, is an innovative, broad-ranging, and widely published constitutional law scholar.
