Professor Amann's Law Review Article Cited In Washington Post

A Washington Post column on Justice John Paul Stevens' recent opinion striking down President Bush's plan to put suspected terrorists on trial before military commissions cited a Fordham Law Review article by Diane Marie Amann, a professor of law and former Stevens clerk. The columnist pointed out the relationship between Justice Stevens and Justice Wiley B. Rutledge, who served only six years, but made his mark on the Supreme Court by arguing that the United States must respect the rights of its foreign enemies.
