Amann posted a commentary in the new Slate blog, Convictions, on the United States Supreme Court Ruling in Snyder v. Louisiana.  Her March 19, 2008, blog commented on the Court's reversal of a defendant's capital conviction for murder of his estranged wife on the grounds that the exclusion of a single potential juror - an African-American student teacher - violated the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution.
