Professor Amann Comments on Extradition Issues for The Tennessean

Professor Diane Marie Amann commented in The Tennessean on extradition issues involved in the case of a Nashville man who returned to the United States after his murder conviction in Nicaragua was overturned, but whose case is again under review by Nicaraguan authorities.  Professor Amann notes that while the U.S. does have an extradition treaty with Nicaragua, "there are far too many variables to be able to make a clear assumption" as to what would happen in this instance if extradition was requested."

Diane Marie Amann is a professor at the UC Davis School of Law.  Among her areas of expertise are criminal law and constitutional law.
