Professor Aldana, Chief Justice Cantil-Sakauye '84 contribute to star-studded cookbook

Professor Raquel Aldana offers recipes for two types of chile rellenos and the Chief Justice of California, Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye ’84, reveals the secret to her carrot casserole in the American Bar Association's star-studded new Nineteenth Amendment Centennial Cookbook.

Other legal luminaries contributing recipes include sitting and retired U.S. Supreme Court Justices Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Neil Gorsuch, Sandra Day O’Connor and Sonia Sotomayor; former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; former University of California President Janet Napolitano; international human rights lawyer Amal Clooney; Equal Justice Initiative founder Bryan Stevenson; and former Eastern District Chief Judge and Duke Law Dean David F. Levi, whose name graces the Schwartz/Levi Inn of Court.

The cookbook marks the 100th anniversary of women winning the right to vote in the United States, and celebrates the spirit of suffragists who once published cookbooks to support their cause.
