Professor Afsharipour's Handbook on Corporate Governance Cited in Business Standard

Professor Afra Afsharipour's new Handbook on Corporate Governance in India served as a source for an article by Amit Tandon, a regular columnist for the Business Standard, one of India's leading newspapers. In the column, Tandon outlines the recent evolution of Corporate Governance regulations, crediting Professor Afsharipour and the Handbook for providing "a detailed account of this journey."

The Handbook on Corporate Governance in India was authored by Professor Afsharipour at the request of the Conference Board, a global, independent business membership and research association working in the public interest. 

Professor Afsharipour's areas of research include comparative corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law.  Her scholarship has appeared in numerous law reviews, including the Columbia Law Review, the Minnesota Law Review, the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the UC Davis Law Review
