Professor Afsharipour Speaks at 8th Annual Berle Corporate Governance Symposium

Professor Afra Afsharipour was an invited symposium participant and gave a presentation on "Benefit Corporations and Corporate Governance: An International Perspective" at the 8th Annual Berle Symposium on "Benefit Corporations and the Firm Commitment Universe" held at Seattle University School of Law June 27.

Professor Afsharipour's areas of research include comparative corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law.  Her scholarship has appeared in numerous law reviews, including the Columbia Law Review, the Minnesota Law Review, the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the UC Davis Law Review.
