Professor Afsharipour Presents at National Business Law Scholars Conference

Professor Afra Afsharipour presented her paper entitled "Deal Advisors" at the Third Annual National Business Law Scholars Conference held at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles on June 19.  At the same conference, Shruti Rana, Visiting Associate Professor at UC Berkeley School of Law, presented a paper co-authored with Professor Afsharipour and entitled "The Emergence of New Corporate Social Responsibility Regimes in China and India."  Professor Afsharipour was present at the presentation to handle the Q&A session.

Professor Afsharipour's areas of research include comparative corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law.  Her scholarship has appeared in numerous law reviews, including the Columbia Law Review, the Minnesota Law Review, the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the UC Davis Law Review.
