Professor Afsharipour Elected to American Society of Comparative Law Executive Committee

Professor Afra Afsharipour was elected to the Executive Committee of the American Society of Comparative Law. Founded in 1951, the American Society of Comparative Law is the leading organization in the United States promoting the comparative study of law.

Professor Afsharipour’s areas of research include comparative corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law.  Her scholarship has appeared in numerous law reviews, including the Columbia Law Review, the Minnesota Law Review, the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the UC Davis Law Review
