Prepare for Exams with the Law Library
Find what you need to prepare for finals at the Law Library. We have study aids, tutorials, past exams, quiet study space, and--new this semester--a dedicated de-stress area to help you recharge.
Not sure where to start? Here's a guide to the library's exam prep resources, including materials on West Academic, Lexis Digital Library, and Aspen Learning Library.
Short Hypos
The Examples & Explanations series and the Acing series include short fact patterns with detailed answers and explanations. If a sample answer explains the law differently than your professor, practice rewriting the answer to reflect what you learned in class.
Full-Length Exam Questions
The Exam Pro series, Gilbert Law Summaries, and CrunchTime include sample essay questions and answers. Take a look in the Exam Archive for previous years' exams to see what kinds of questions your professors have asked in the past and get a feel for their exam style.
Multiple-Choice Questions
CrunchTime, Gilbert Law Summaries, Exam Pro, the Question & Answer series, and CALI all offer practice multiple-choice questions with answers. CALI also includes interactive tutorials.

More Study Aids
Study aids break down tough concepts, walk through examples, and provide practice questions. They are best used alongside your own notes and outlines. Check out the Law Library's Study Aids guide for more study aids, including a curated list of study aids for each 1L class.
Ready for a Study Break?
Need a breather? Stop by the de-stress area in the Law Library lobby, available throughout the reading period and finals. We'll have activities and supplies on hand to help you step away from the books, reset, and head back to studying refreshed.
