Picnic Day Parade

Picnic Day 2022 at UC Davis was festive this year and an in-person event. It was the 108th year of the campus celebration. I had the pleasure of being one of the announcers for the grand Picnic Day parade through the campus and downtown Davis. Stationed on Second St., me and my partner Elias, who is from Tuolumne California, had a grand time announcing the various entries, starting off with the UC Davis Marching Band. And the city was out in full force for a wonderful celebration.

Picnic Day is a UC Davis tradition with an open house on campus. It includes the Battle of the Bands and dachshund races (no betting allowed). It was a picture perfect day and fun was had by all.
