We had a great turnout this week at the Orange County UC Davis School of Law alumni lunch. The guest of honor was King Hall alum Judge Fernando Valle '02. After serving as a public defender for many years, Judge Valle was recently appointed to the Superior Court.

More than 25 alums met at Avilas Mexican Restaurant in Costa Mesa. It was a great group including current or former Alumni Board members Kim Chase '07, Dina Randazzo '08, and Judge Nancy Wieben Stock '76. In addition, Russ Jura '74, John Stephens '89, Rabia Chaudhry '12, Carmel Imani '16, Camellia Imani '16 were in attendance among others.

I was able to welcome the group and fill them in on all the great things happening at King Hall, including new Justice Kelli Evans '94 appointment to the Supreme Court and the fact that 90% of the Class of 2022 has full-time legal jobs.

Orange County alums turn out for our lunches. It truly was great to see our enthusiastic base.
