Professor Jasmine Harris elected to Society of American Law Teachers board

Professor Jasmine E. Harris has been elected to the board of governors of the Society of American Law Teachers. Her three-year term will commence on Jan. 1, 2020.

The Society of American Law Teachers (SALT) is a community of progressive law teachers, law school administrators, librarians, academic support experts, students and affiliates. SALT has been working for more than 40 years to improve the legal profession, the law academy and expand the power of law to underserved communities. SALT engages in work within and beyond the law school to advance social justice.

Professor Jasmine Harris joined the King Hall faculty in 2015 to teach evidence and disability law.  She is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Yale Law School and a former clerk for the Honorable Harold Baer, Jr. in the Southern District of New York. She has also worked at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr and with the Advancement Project, where she was as a staff attorney with the Schoolhouse to Jailhouse and Quality Education projects.
