House of Lords Committee Invites Professor Joh to Speak About New Technology and the Law

On Sept. 7, Professor Elizabeth Joh was a witness before the House of Lords’ Justice and Home Affairs Committee. Joh spoke via Zoom to the committee members, who were gathered in person at the Palace of Westminster in London. Joh discussed new technologies and the application of law.

Professor Joh's scholarship focuses on criminal procedure and policing, with a special emphasis on DNA evidence, undercover policing, and new surveillance technologies. She is the recipient of King Hall’s 2017 Distinguished Teaching Award.
