Professor Lee presents paper at works-in-progress intellectual property colloquium
Professor Peter Lee recently presented a piece titled “Autonomy, Copyright, and the Structure of Creative Production” at the Works-in-Progress Intellectual Property (WIPIP) Colloquium. The piece examines the role of copyright in promoting vertical disintegration and creative autonomy in the film, music, and publishing industries.
The WIPIP was held virtually this year and was co-hosted by American University Washington College of Law, Texas A&M University School of Law, and Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law.
Professor Lee's scholarly work addresses the intersection of science and society, particularly exploring the patent system's impact on scientific and technological progress.
