New Tribal Justice Project speaker series begins Feb. 10

The UC Davis Law Tribal Justice Project’s new seminar series kicks off on Wednesday, Feb. 10 with a noontime talk by Christopher Chaney of the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Tribal Justice. The series will continue through May 5.

Featuring 14 speakers and hosted by retired Utah State Court of Appeals Judge William Thorne, the series strives to unite law students, graduate students, faculty and practitioners with leaders and scholars who specialize in the area of tribal courts. The series will explore some of the current challenges facing tribal courts and the groundbreaking ways thought leaders and practitioners are addressing them.
