Library Co-sponsors Summer Associate Research Workshop
An all-day workshop, "Research in the Real World," was co-sponsored by the UC Davis School of Law Mabie Law Library and the Pacific McGeorge Gordon D. Schaber Law Library. The program, held at Pacific McGeorge, attracted summer associates from a variety of Sacramento-area firms, big and small, in addition to students clerking at state and municipal government offices and courts. Speakers included representatives of Lexis/Nexis and Thomson West, attorneys practicing civil, administrative and criminal law, and research librarians.
More than 90 law students from 13 law schools attended the research program on June 5, 2007. Schools represented were Boalt Hall, Boston University, Creighton University, CUNY, Golden Gate, Loyola, Rutgers-Camden, UC Davis, UC Hastings, University of Oregon, University of Utah, and University of Texas.
