Lawyers from Brazil Participate in Intensive Contracts and Dispute Resolution Program

Thirty lawyers from Petrobras, the state-owned oil company in Brazil, arrived at UC Davis on November 28th to participate in an intensive two-week program focusing on contracts and dispute resolution.  The lawyers are taking the educational program to further their understanding of the U.S. legal system. 

UC Davis School of Law and UC Davis Extension are co-sponsors of the intensive study program.  Lawyers from Petrobras have participated in past UC Davis School of Law International Programs located in Davis, California and Cologne, Germany.  This is the largest group that Petrobras has sent to date.
