Law School STEAC Holiday Program

The UC Davis School of Law and Mabie Law Library collected over $1,450 for the Yolo County Short Term Emergency Aid Committee (STEAC) Holiday Program. STEAC will use the money to provide food, gifts, and shelter for low-income families in the Yolo County community through the holiday season, as well as providing assistance throughout the year. STEAC's mission is to provide immediate short-term assistance to families and individuals with income below the poverty level. Assistance may include help with rent, utilities, furniture, clothing, food, and other basic necessities. STEAC is committed to enlarging the social awareness of the community and to providing opportunities for local citizens to help others in need.
