King Hall Prominent in Sacramento Lawyer Fellowship Luncheon Article
UC Davis School of Law figured prominently in an article in the November/December issue of Sacramento Lawyer magazine on the recent Legal Services of Northern California (LSNC) law clerk luncheon. The event gathers summer associates working at private firms throughout the Sacramento area to introduce them to public interest practice and pro bono opportunities. This year, 54 summer associates attended the luncheon held at the downtown Sacramento office of Downey Brand on July 7.
The article, "Summer Associates Learn Value of Pro Bono Work," notes that addresses were given at the luncheon by Dean Kevin R. Johnson, who is LSNC board president, and Gary Smith, who is LSNC's executive director and teaches public interest law at King Hall.
