King Hall to Present Faculty Scholarship, Film Screening at AALS Meeting
UC Davis School of Law will have a prominent presence at the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana from January 6-10, 2010.
AALS is a non-profit educational association representing more than 10,000 law faculty in the U.S. Its annual meeting constitutes the largest gathering of law faculty in the world.
Faculty from King Hall will act as speakers and moderators for several stimulating panel discussions, including:

During the AALS meeting, UC Davis School of Law and the Society of American Law Teachers (SALT) will present a sneak preview of "Sowing the Seeds of Justice," a new documentary about professor emeritus and civil rights icon Cruz Reynoso. Dean Kevin R. Johnson will host the sneak preview and reception, featuring a panel discussion with filmmaker Abby Ginzberg ("Soul of Justice: Thelton Henderson's American Journey") and Cruz Reynoso, a former justice of the California Supreme Court, the 1993 recipient of the SALT Great Teacher Award, and currently a professor emeritus at UC Davis School of Law.
