King Hall Launches Redesigned Website
UC Davis School of Law has launched a newly redesigned website with a bolder, more colorful look, more effective navigation, improved interface for smartphones and tablets, and other features designed to better serve the King Hall Community.
The website went live online on August 1 following more than a year of research, redesign, and testing. The changes are a reflection of feedback received from the King Hall community, including usability tests conducted over recent weeks on a "preview" version of the site by students, faculty, and staff. Newly added features include a design well-suited for mobile devices, drop-down menus for easier navigation, improved accessibility for news and event items, a streamlined online giving section, and more.
"It's important for the School of Law to reevaluate our web presence periodically in order to reflect changes in technology, refresh the graphic design, and incorporate user feedback," said Pamela Wu, Director of Marketing and Public Relations. "Thanks to the input we received from our King Hall community, and thanks to the hard work of our editorial and information technology teams, we have been able to update our website in ways that we believe best serve the community and support the excellence of the School of Law."
