King Hall Hosts Petrobras Attorneys for Training Session

King Hall is hosting 25 attorneys from Brazilian energy company Petrobras (Petróleo Brasileiro S.A.) for training sessions November 8-19.  The attorneys are spending two weeks on the UC Davis campus as part of a three-week legal training program which began at a facility in Rio de Janeiro in October.  This is the third in a series of three courses focusing on oil and gas transactions, contracts, dispute resolution, finance law, and tax consequences.  The series is a collaborative effort by the School of Law, UC Davis Extension, and Petrobras.

Petrobras is the seventh-largest publicly traded energy company in the world, and a global leader in the development of alternative energy fuel sources.  The company has the largest corporate legal department in all of Latin America.
