King Hall Faculty Speak at DePaul Immigration Law Workshop
Dean Kevin R. Johnson and Professors Holly Cooper and Raha Jorjani spoke at the bi-annual Immigration Law Teachers Workshop 2010 at DePaul College of Law on May 24-25 in Chicago. This conference is the premier venue for immigration scholarship and teaching in the United States.
Dean Johnson was part of plenary panel discussions kicking off on "Immigration Enforcement and Its Consequences" and a concurrent panel on "Clinical Design from the Perspective of Law School Administration." Professor Cooper was part of a panel examining the range of practice in a variety of immigration clinics, and Professor Jorjani led a breakout session on "Children and Immigration." Dean Johnson and Professors Cooper and Jorjani also participated in "Works in Progress Sessions" reviewing drafts of immigration-related articles by other scholars.
