King Hall Faculty Comment on Stevens' Retirement for National, Local Media
National and local news media turned to King Hall faculty for comment on the announcement of the retirement of U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens last week.
Professor Diane Marie Amann, a former Stevens clerk who is working on a biography of the Justice, commented on Justice Stevens' life and career for articles in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, National Law Journal, Politico, and the Daily Journal, in addition to television news reports on the CNN, MSNBC, and Fox networks, as well as local station KCRA-3. She also contributed to a discussion of Justice Stevens on "BLT: The Blog of Legal Times."
Associate Dean Vikram Amar commented on Stevens' retirement for the San Francisco Chronicle, Daily Journal, and radio news reports on KCBS, KQED's "Forum," and National Public Radio's "Tell Me More."
