King Hall alumnus Che Salinas '06 appointed to Gov. Newsom's staff

New California Gov. Gavin Newsom has selected Che Salinas '06 to be his chief deputy legislative affairs secretary for operations. The King Hall alumnus previously was counsel in the government and regulatory division of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips' Sacramento office.

Before joining Manatt, Salinas served in several California state Senate posts, including staff counsel to then-Senate President Pro Tem Don Perata.
