King Hall alumna's article published in Duke Law Journal

“E-Notice,” an article on class action notices by Christine Bartholomew, ’00, recently was published in the Duke Law Journal.

A member of the SUNY at Buffalo School of Law faculty since 2006, Professor Bartholomew in her article cites data showing that the judiciary is falling behind in using new communication tools to disseminate class action notices. The article is based on a survey of more than 2,700 federal class action decisions from 2005 through 2017.

Before joining the law school’s faculty, Professor Bartholomew worked as an attorney in the San Francisco Bay Area, practicing in the areas of antitrust and consumer protection.
