International Judges and Lawyers Study U.S. Legal System

The UC Davis School of Law's Orientation in U.S.A. Law Program held a reception at the Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts on July 20, 2005. The school's international law program is internationally recognized for its outstanding faculty and focus on civil rights issues. Over 100 international judges, lawyers, law professors, Fulbright Scholars, pre-LL.M. students and business professionals attend the courses taught by UC Davis School of Law professors and other legal experts. The program, in partnership with UC Davis Extension International Programs, provides the opportunity for students to gain a better understanding of the U.S. legal system. Other international programs include the Masters in International Commercial Law (M.I.C.L.), Masters of Law (LL.M.), and specialized programs in financing international transactions and global trading systems.
