Indian Government Think Tank Invites Senior Associate Dean Afsharipour to Speak

On Feb. 11, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Afra Afsharipour gave a talk on gender diversity and the board’s role in mergers and acquisitions as part of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs’ “Power Talk Series.” Afsharipour was invited to speak by the IICA, a think tank of the Indian government’s Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor Afra Afsharipour’s areas of research include comparative corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law.  Her scholarship has appeared in numerous law reviews, including the Columbia Law Review, Minnesota Law Review, Vanderbilt Law Review, and UC Davis Law Review.
