Immigration Rallies Fill Nation's Streets
Professor Kevin Johnson was quoted in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on recent immigration rallies that have filled the nation's streets. Nearly two million people marched on Monday, March 10, in protests across the country.
"This is unlike anything we have seen on immigration issues ever in the nation's history," Johnson said. "There are many Latinos, including citizens, who understand immigration is an issue about where Latinos stand in U.S. society, and believe this is an important issue."
