Hillman Quoted in American Lawyer on Milberg Weiss

Professor Robert Hillman, a leading expert in corporate and securities law, was quoted in the July 2006 issue of American Lawyer. The story, "Highway to Hell? Milberg Watchers See a Shadowy Road Ahead," looks at the fallout from federal indictments of the Milberg Weiss law firm, currently named Milberg Weiss Bershad & Schulman LLP, and two of its partners, following a five-year investigation into the alleged misuse of referral fees paid by the firm. Hillman commented on the probability of prosecutors coming after unindicted partners assets. 

 

Hillman is co-author of "Securities Regulation: Cases and Materials," the leading law school text on securities regulation and capital markets. Hillman was also a member of the California State Senates Blue Ribbon Task Force on Shareholder Litigation.
