Green '12, Warden '12 Compete in Energy & Sustainability Moot Court

On March 31-April 2, the UC Davis team of David Green '12 and Nick Warden '12 competed in the inaugural National Energy & Sustainability Moot Court competition hosted by the West Virginia University College of Law. 

The team made it to the quarterfinal round, but was outscored by their opponents by less than one point and did not advance.  During the preliminary rounds, Green and Warden twice defeated the eventual winners of the competition, the team from the University of Kentucky. 

The UC Davis team thanked Ellen Trescott of Downey Brand for helping them to prepare for the competition, Ellen Howard '10 and Michael Ng '11 for judging practice rounds, and Professors Christopher Elmendorf and Albert Lin for selecting and organizing the team.
