'Forever King Hall' Prompts Outpouring of Support

More than 400 King Hall faculty, students, staff, and alumni have given to the Forever King Hall program, supporting the King Hall Expansion and Renovation project and dedicating pavers, seats, and benches in the Law School building.  The program has been popular with alumni, students and their families, and other friends of King Hall, offering a tangible connection to the upgraded building and a chance to support the effort to take full advantage of this rare opportunity to upgrade King Hall.

Standing on Mrak Drive, looking over the construction site where crews are busily putting in place the steel girders that will frame the Law School building’s new east wing, it’s possible to imagine how this will impact the renovated and expanded King Hall.  Walking through the spectacular new entry into the aesthetically striking and functionally state-of-the-art building, you’ll pass benches with inscriptions dedicated by Forever King Hall donors, find students learning in classrooms and courtrooms with inscribed seats, and enter a courtyard covered with pavers bearing inscriptions from hundreds of supporters who helped make it all possible.

More than 300 King Hall Pavers have been dedicated, along with more than 100 seats in classrooms and courtrooms, and 25 King Hall Benches.  Much progress has been made, but more support is needed in order to maximize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a permanent part of the expansion and renovation of King Hall.
