Externship Director Dena Bauman speaks in conference, co-authors report on national survey

Director of Externships Dena Bauman participated in the Oct. 23 panel “Virtual Placements, Virtual Practice: Designing 21st Century Externships” as part of the Externships 10 Online: 20/20 Vision for the Future Conference hosted by Syracuse University College of the Law.

Bauman also co-authored a Clinical Legal Education Association Externship Committee Report based on a national survey of schools about payment of students in for-credit externships. Bauman prepared the report for the CLEA Externship Committee along with Jodi Balsam of Brooklyn Law School, D’lorah Hughes of UC Irvine, Kendall Kerew of Georgia State University, and Meg Reuter of the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
