Post-Graduation Database Access

Graduating UC Davis Law students can retain student access to research databases while studying for the bar and transitioning to practice. You must take action to extend access to Westlaw and CEB.

Westlaw. Enroll in Westlaw's Graduate Elite Program by May 9 for six months of free access, limited to 60 hours per month for non-commercial use. If you do not enroll in the Graduate Elite Program before graduation, your Westlaw access will expire when you graduate.

CEB. Register for AccessLaw by May 31 for 18 months of post-graduation access. Email [email protected] for the law school code. CEB materials are widely used across California practice areas, and registration is strongly encouraged. If you do not register by May 31, your access will expire when you graduate.

Bloomberg Law. Graduating students who are registered for Bloomberg Law receive six months of free unlimited post-graduation access automatically. If you have not yet set up a Bloomberg Law account, do so before graduation by emailing [email protected] for a registration code.

Lexis. Graduates retain access to Lexis+ for six months after graduation with no additional registration required. If you are pursuing nonprofit work, check to see if you qualify for six additional months of access through Lexis's ASPIRE program.
