Exploring the Future of California's Water Rights

The California Environmental Law and Policy Center, directed by Professor Rick Frank, had another outstanding speaker visit UC Davis School of Law this week. Governor Newsom appointed Laurel Firestone, a long-time environmental justice advocate, to the State Water Resources Control Board. She talked about her priorities and key challenges in charting California water rights today and into the future. A full room of students — and others who joined by Zoom — attended the event.
