Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and Celebration

Monday, Jan. 20

King Hall

8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

On behalf of UC Davis BLSA and the UC Davis Law MLK Day Working Group, we are pleased to invite you to attend a Day of Service and Celebration in honor of the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr., on Monday, January 20, 2020.  You have two options for a morning of service: work alongside your law school colleagues to assist Fourth & Hope, a facility that provides services to our county’s unhoused population as well as others in need of temporary housing and food, located in downtown Woodland; or serve DACA recipients and families needing support in our DACA clinic right here at King Hall.   At 12:30, we will offer a lunch-time program at King Hall, including remarks from BLSA President Kaleigh Thomas, Dean Kevin Johnson and our keynote speaker, Brendon Woods, Alameda County Public Defender, along with excellent Jamaican-style cuisine!  Please click here for more information and to RSVP!
